Barbie Argabrite provided a 3 hour training on Tech Steps to Marion County teachers the week of December 1st. It was a good overview of the product.
A gradual approach to implementing TechSteps to the middle school curriculum should be considered. Some students lack even the basic skills to attempt such in depth projects. Limited computers and class time is a concern. One project per core subject is a more realistic expectation for 5-8 grade students. Quality vs. quantity in this case.
